RideBreeze is operated by Owolyte Technologies Ltd. This page explains how to delete your RideBreeze rider or driver account, and what happens to your data when you do.
1. Open the RideBreeze app and sign in.
2. Go to Menu > Profile & Settings.
3. Tap "Delete Account".
4. Confirm when prompted.
Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out. This action cannot be undone. The same steps apply in the RideBreeze Driver app.
Email support@ridebreeze.com from the email address registered on your account, using the subject "Account Deletion Request". We will verify your identity and action the request within 30 days.
If you would like specific data removed without closing your account, email support@ridebreeze.com describing what you would like deleted. We handle these requests in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act.
• Your name, email address, phone number and profile photo
• Your saved addresses and location history
• Your in-app messages
• Your ratings and reviews
• For drivers: vehicle details and uploaded verification documents
• Trip and payment records are retained where we are required to keep them for legal, tax, accounting and safety purposes. They are retained only for as long as the applicable law requires, and are not used to contact you.
• Trip audio recordings (an optional driver feature) are automatically deleted after 30 days, unless retained in connection with a reported safety incident or as required by law.
• Records connected to an open dispute, investigation or unresolved payment are retained until that matter is resolved.
